Drolma Ling

Drolma Ling

Drolma Ling is a yoga and meditation retreat destination on the beautiful Greek Island of Rhodes

Drolma Ling is a retreat centre designed by practitioners, for practitioners. We encourage those who wish to find a safe, quiet and supporting environment to join us for short or long-term retreats.

The retreat facilities are located up a hill on Rhodes Island, 500 meters from the village of Theologos. Devoted to the worship of Apollo, Rhodes is both a beautiful and historical paradise, infused with a special Apollonian light.

Drolma Ling has the twin benefits of isolation and community, located only 500 meters from the village, 2 km from the sea and only 5 kms from the international airport of Diagoras, but nestled in the beautiful pine forest with a panoramic view of the Aegean Sea to the west.

Drolma Ling Land

The land at Drolma Ling has been consecrated by Tibetan Buddhist masters who granted their blessings for the fruition of the Buddha’s teachings and their practice.

Drolma Ling is located on 7.5 acres of land in the pine forest. There is ample space to set up tents, or stay in a small cottage room, or a studio apartment. Dromla Ling has a communal centre that houses toilets, a shower and a kitchen.

There is also a main building that has all the necessities. Onsite is a person to assist you, for an extra cost, in your everyday needs in case you do not want to leave the centre. Free internet (wifi) is available throughout the centre.

The space of Drolma Ling is also available for teachings and seminars in accordance with the purpose and regulations of the center.

This is a non-profit establishment and the low fees charged to guests will be used for the maintenance and improvement of the retreat facilities including the upkeep of the gardens and orchards.

Drolma Ling Welcomes You

All people who respect the environment that would like to practice (meditation, yoga or a personal retreat) for a short or long period of time are welcome here.

We ask that the following rules be followed while at the centre: no killing, no consumption of drugs or alcohol, no smoking (except in designated fire-safe areas).

A Skype interview will be scheuled to discuss arrangements and availability.

“Yoga is the unifying art of transforming dharma into action, be it through inspired thought, properly nurturing our children, a painting, a kindness or an act of peace. “
